There is just something so refreshing about a watermelon mojito that makes me happy, so I knew I needed to create something similar for our mindful cocktails-- this non-alcoholic recipe is fulled with CBD and dandelion! Try the recipe and Learn about the health benefits below!
Mint & Watermelon
1 dropper of Dandelion Tincture
.5 oz Mint infused Swoon Simple Syrup
.5 oz lime juice
MAKING OF SWOON INFUSED MINT:
If you haven't heard of Swoon yet, YOU NEED TO! Swoon is the zero sugar simple syrup that gets it's natural silky sweetness from monk fruit. This has been our go to lately as a swap for simple syrup. In my bar days, I always loved utilizing simple syrups to bring an extra flavor profile to a drink. But to be completely honest, since I learned about Swoon, I've been using this as my base and then infusing it with whatever I want! For this twist on a Mojito Mocktail, I took Swoon and infused it with Mint-- to make a zero sugar mint simple syrup! So easy! Pour Swoon into a pan and add a handful of mint, simmer on low heat until it comes to a boil. Make sure to taste a small amount to ensure it is as minty as you want! Strain the Swoon into it's own container and you are good to go!
HOW TO MAKE THE MINDFUL COCKTAIL:
Get your mason jar cocktail shaker, and muddle the mint, watermelon, and lime juice in jar. If you don't have a muddler, no big deal, just use the back of a wooden spoon. Add Dandelion and mint infused Swoon. Fill with ice and Shake! Fill a new mason jar with ice and pour from the cocktail shaker. Top with WellerYou Watermelon CBD Sparkling Water.
